The School of Life Sciences

The School of Life Sciences operates on City campus.

Our Life Sciences School spans a wide selection of courses including Wildlife and Animal Conservation, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Science, Microbiology, Forensic Science, and much more.

Wolverhampton sciences students will have access to a range of a cutting-edge equipment (three 90-seater state-of-the-art laboratories, including a specialist ballistics lab, and a forensic crime scene house), dynamic learning spaces and expert teaching.

Many of our courses are accredited by professional bodies, including the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists, and the Chartered Society of Forensic Sciences, which means they are designed to meet the requirements of these bodies and our industry partners who have helped inform their content.

From epidemiologists to biomedical scientists, graduates have gone on to secure successful careers at leading companies such as the NHS, Eurofins, West Midlands Police, UK Health Security Agency, Public Health England, the World Health Organisation (WHO), and Glaxo Smith Kline.
