Chief Financial Officer

Leadership is at the heart of this role. You will bring a commercial mindset and enable the development of income generation and lead on the development of the University’s Estate Master Plan to support the University through this period of change and potential growth in the future. It is important to drive continuous evolution and delivery of outcomes, playing a key role in shaping the future strategy beyond 2025.

Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor and as a member of the Senior Team, you will provide leadership and execute best practice across financial planning and management, reporting and financial controls, financial analysis, procurement, tax and treasury, planning and risk, and estates.

You will require strong business partnering abilities, including the encouragement of collaboration, and challenging where necessary, to effectively implement the strategies set out for the University over the foreseeable future. We are keen to hear from candidates with experience in Higher Education and in the private sector.
